Who Am I?
Thank you for visiting portfolio. My name is Natalie Carranza. I am currently working toward a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, at Biola University. I am new to the business world, so during my time at Biola and wetting my feet with internships and various experience I hope to gain greater capacity for this field of study.
I am from Southern California in the Los angeles area. I work part time at In-N-Out while attending school.
I have a passion for art and design. On my free time I like to spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy photography and though I am not a professional, I think it is so great to capture candid moments.
Growing up, I have always loved science and learning how things work. I plagued my parents and teacher with questions as I attempted to make sense of the world and this love is what drove me to pursue a career in medicine. In high school I volunteered at hospitals and veterinary clinics, took rigorous science classes and grew a love for people and helping their needs. As I entered college and pursued a degree in biological science I began to question my decision. An internship at a hospital helped me realize that that wasn't the route for me. I disliked the impersonal connection between patients and doctors and I realized it was something I couldn't see myself doing for the rest of my life. As I made the switch to business my love for math and numbers grew and I enjoyed the detail and accuracy that went into accounting. As I pursue a degree and gain experience in this field I am excited to expand my knowledge and growth.
