Vision

As I look into the future and where I will be ten years from not I am excited thinking of the ways God will use me and the place I will be in my life. I will be 32 years old, writing it down makes me think that that isn’t as much time as it seems but so much can happen in ten years.

Professionally, in the next year or so I will be starting my career, entering the field of accounting and working toward getting my CPA certification. In the next ten years, I hope to grow in my field and to move up in my career. I hope to gain experience in a large accounting firm so that I can one-day branch off and pursue different aspects of accounting and finance. I am excited to work in audit in a larger company to get a full understanding and training of how things work on a large scale. I feel like I will be able to learn and grow in the early stages of my career. Moving on from there I am unsure of where exactly I will branch out. I try not to set an exact plan for my career because I want the freedom to decide as I go. I have a strong desire to travel with work. I would like to work in another large city like New York or Chicago for a couple of years. I want to grow and expand my horizons and I know that this doesn’t mean staying in the same place, that I why I want to be uncomfortable and try new things. Ten years from now I will be more established in my career and I want to work toward helping others become financially secure. I would like to offer services to people struggling to maintain their finances and help them plan and manage their money right. I would like to explore financial advising and also offer people who cannot afford the help the opportunity to get it. It is a genuine passion of mine to help people and to do so in every aspect of my life. I am unsure what the economy will be like, but my vision is to help people find financials security and to help people learn to plan and manage their money. I feel strongly about this profession and I would like my calling to show up in it.

I have a desire to have a family. Ten years from now I see myself married, maybe with kids or expecting them. I trust God’s plan for that. Family is really important to me so I see myself still being close to them all. I have never been the type to plan too far in my future. I have string ambition and desires, but I want them to develop and evolve as I grow and learn. I put my trust and faith in a strong and faithful God and as I look toward my future I pray that he uses me and guides me.

Thank you for reading my blog. I urge you to take a look at where you will be in the next 10 years. How do you envision yourself being used by God?
